List of Popular Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mixes

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a small to medium purebred dog and one of the most popular pet dogs. This intelligent dog comes with a loyal and protective nature that makes it one of the best guard dogs. Also called Staffy for short, it is often used in mixed breeding to create attractive designer dogs.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mixes

1. American Bully Staffy Bull Terrier (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x American Bulldog)

A relatively new mixed breed, it has quickly won a lot of hearts with its affectionate nature and eagerness to be near its family. With two brilliant guard dogs as its parents, the American Bully Staffy Bull Terrier inherits excellent protective instincts, making it a good guard dog.

Border Collie Bull Staffy

2. Border Collie Bull Staffy (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Border Collie)

Having Border Collie as one parent and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier as the other, the Border Collie Bull Staffy is one of the most energetic, intelligent, and loving designer breeds out there. It is always eager to please and loves to be surrounded by its people all the time, with good guarding instincts.

Border Stack

3. Border Stack (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Border Collie x Jack Russell Terrier)

Bred mainly for competitions like agility sports and flyball, the Border Stack is not a dog for novice dog parents. In fact, it is not recommended for anyone unless they are planning to spend a lot of time with their dog, as this smart and energetic breed needs plenty of exercise, as well as to be around its human at all times.

Staffy Bull Bullmastiff

4. Staffy Bull Bullmastiff (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Bullmastiff mix)

Also called Staffordshire Bullmastiff, it is a huge mixed dog that can grow over 26 inches in height, weighing up to 120-130 pounds. But despite this giant size, the Staffy Bull Bullmastiff is fiercely loyal, loving, and protective of its family. Its stubborn nature makes this mix unsuitable for inexperienced dog owners.

Bullboxer Staffy Bull

5. Bullboxer Staffy Bull (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Boxer)

Yet another large designer dog, this one is known for being loyal, loving, and extremely protective of its human family, but can be aggressive towards other dogs.

English Bully Staffy Bull Terrier

6. English Bully Staffy Bull Terrier (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x English Bulldog)

An excellent companion dog, this mix is suitable for experienced dog owners, as it needs proper leadership skills and strict training.

Staffy Bull Wolfhound

7. Staffy Bull Wolfhound (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Irish Wolfhound)

With two large athletic and loyal breeds as its parents, the Staffy Bull Wolfhound inherits the best qualities from both parents.

Staffy Bull Pug

8. Staffy Bull Pug (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Pug)

One of the less common Staffy mixes, it is a medium-sized, short-coated dog with a loving, loyal disposition.

Staffie Bullweiler

9. Staffie Bullweiler (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Rottweiler)

Also called the Staffweiler, it is smaller than a Rottweiler and can be an excellent companion dog for families. It has a protective nature and can be good around children if socialized with them from an early age.

Scottish Staffish Bull Terrier

10. Scottish Staffish Bull Terrier (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Scottish Terrier)

It is a rare mixed breed with a variable disposition, as it might inherit the obedience and propensity to please from its Staffordshire Bull Terrier parent or be an independent, stubborn dog like the Scottish Terrier. It does make a wonderful companion dog with its affectionate and playful nature.

Staffy Bull Pit

11. Staffy Bull Pit (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Pit Bull Terrier)

Since the Pit Bull Terrier or American Pit Bull Terrier is banned in UK and some US States, the Staffy Bull Pit is not a mixed dog commonly found at the breeders’. It is a loyal, loving, and energetic dog, that needs plenty of exercise. Even with proper training, these dogs are not suitable to be around small children.

Olde Staffybull Bulldogge

12. Olde Staffybull Bulldogge (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Olde English Bulldogge)

Yet another less common Staffy mix with a short, easy-to-maintain coat and an affectionate, loyal disposition that makes it a good companion dog.

Staffy Bull Pei

13. Staffy Bull Pei (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Shar Pei)

It is also rather rare, with little information about what to expect of their appearance and temperament. The medium-sized mixed dog will likely inherit the characteristic wrinkly coat from its Shar Pei parent, which requires regular cleaning and grooming.

Chi Staffy Bull

14. Chi Staffy Bull (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Chihuahua mix)

It is a stubborn dog that needs to be trained from an early age, or it will be difficult to train at all. It makes a good companion dog with a fun, affectionate, and playful personality.
