Shar-Pei is an ancient breed originally developed for guarding, herding, and hunting jobs. Known for being extremely devoted to its family, it enjoys staying close to its people. The Shar-Pei mixes are produced by crossing the Chinese Shar-Pei with a number of purebreds, including Pit Bull Terrier, Labrador Retriever, Beagle, Boxer, German Shepherd, English Bulldog, Basset Hound, and Rottweiler.
