Pit Bull (Group of Dog) Mixes
Pit Bulls typically refer to the American Pit Bull Terrier. Still, the name is often used as a blanket term for several other similar breeds, including the American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bully, and sometimes even the American Bulldog.
When it comes to Pit Bull mixes, it is most likely to be a crossbred dog between the American Pit Bull Terrier and another purebred dog. But designer dogs created by crossing any pit bull with other dogs will also be considered Pit Bull mixes.
Although Pit Bulls have a bad reputation for being aggressive, proper training and socialization can teach them to be gentle around people, making them good family companions.
