Funny Dog Breeds
Some dogs just look funny, some act funny, and some are just fun to be around. Here’s a bunch of dogs that will never cease to entertain you.
List of 15 Dog Breeds that are Known to be Funny
1. Corgi
A small dog like a fox with very stubby legs, corgis are always smiling and will always entertain you through their goofball antics.
2. Golden Retriever
A dog known for how social it is – the golden retriever will always keep you entertained. Even when something it does makes you fall over laughing, the golden retriever’s enthusiasm can never be curbed.
3. Chihuahua
Known for their ferocious attitude that appears to overcompensate for their tiny size, watching a chihuahua try to act all intimidating can be quite an entertaining time.
4. Bulldog
While they may appear grumpy thanks to their face, one could not be more mistaken. Once a bulldog gets going in its own world, watching its antics might make you double over in laughter.
5. Pug
Sometimes unfairly said to have a face only a few people could love, everything the pug does will bring a smile to your face. These little guys always come off as a goofball no matter what they are doing, be it trying to play with a toy that’s too big for them or when they are asleep and snoring.
6. Jack Russell Terrier
As anyone who has owned a Jack Russell Terrier will tell you – it’s a struggle to keep up with their high energy. But you’ll probably have a lot of fun along the way, as that hyperactive energy will likely lead to the dogs ending up in some rather funny situations.
7. Dachshund
How could we have a list of the funniest dogs out there without including the wiener dog? Famous for its long torso, the dachshund has captured the appearance of many people worldwide. It even was the mascot for the 1972 Olympics in Germany.
8. Chinese Crested Dog
Infamous for its “ugly” appearance, the Chinese crested dog is known for the handful of tufts of hair on the few places on its body. However, it is a devoted pet and can be quite affectionate.

Sometimes called a “mop dog” for obvious reasons, the Komondor looks like a smaller dog trapped underneath a rug woven out of cords.
10. Bedlington Terrier
The Bedlington terrier looks like a giant lamb that never got old enough to become a sheep. It has wooly hair, tassels hanging from its ears, and a wedge-like head.
11. Affenpinscher
With a name that translates roughly to “terrier that acts like a monkey”, what do you think?
12. Mexican Hairless Dog
A species of dog that always needs to stay indoors, this poor pooch is sometimes mocked mercilessly for its furless façade.
13. Boxer
Though it may appear to be always serious, the stark contrast between the boxer’s appearance and attitude might give you whiplash. A dog that somehow never realized that it’s no longer a puppy, you’ll always have a good time with a boxer.
14. Neapolitan Mastiff
With its saggy skin, the Neapolitan mastiff is quite funny to look at. But be careful, this good boy doesn’t quite know his own strength and might hurt you while being playful entirely on accident.
15. Puli
With an appearance like a smaller Komondor, the Puli looks like a sentient mop that has somehow lost its handle and is moving about independently.
