Fawn Dogs
Dogs with fawn coats have a natural, beautiful, and earthy appearance, looking elegant and cool. This shade is the light yellowish version of tan, often seen in the coats of prominent breeds like the Pug, Boxer, and Great Dane. In certain dogs like the Doberman Pinscher and Chow Chow, the fawn coloration is an outcome of the dilution of the red pigment.
List of Fawn Dog Breeds
The breeds mentioned here are fully fawn, while some like the Boxer could also have white markings on their chests. On the other hand, the Kangal dog has fawn hair with sable point coloration. All of them have been recognized by major kennel clubs like the AKC, UKC, CKC, and FCI.
