It is a designer dog characterized by a full muzzle slightly tapering at the nose, dark brown eyes, short to medium-sized ears, a somewhat longer body than its height at the withers, and a tail that is often carried forward up over its back.

Temperament and Behavior
The Cheenese is a loving dog that thrives on human companionship and affection. It forms close bonds with its people and likes to follow them around the house. As a fun-loving and busy housemate, the Hava Chi keeps its family members entertained with its lively and clownish acts.
Although it can be a little suspicious of strangers at first, it will usually make friends with them if properly introduced. It is affectionate with kids as well as other pets. However, because of its small stature, it could accidentally get hurt or harmed by young children. So, its interactions with them should always be supervised.
Care
Exercise
The Cheenese enjoys going on a lengthy walk, playing games of fetch, or romping around the yard. It is a fast learner and can compete in sports like obedience, agility, freestyle, and flyball.
Grooming
Its coat needs frequent brushing to keep mats from forming. You may use a fine-toothed comb for removing dead hairs. It can occasionally be bathed using a mild shampoo so that its coat and skin do not dry out. Brush its teeth at least thrice a week and trim its nails once a month.
Health Problems
Although not all Havanese Chihuahua mix will get these diseases, you should test your dog for certain conditions to know its health status. Your Cheenese may be affected by some common health issues including patellar luxation, hip and elbow dysplasia, cataracts, deafness, and congenital heart diseases.
Training
Teaching your dog necessary social skills and exercising its brain to learn new things will be a joyful experience for you and your Cheenese.
Housetraining
No matter how gentle and affectionate your dog is, it can develop undesirable behaviors like digging, chewing, and barking if it is left unsupervised, untrained, or bored. Start training your dog to defecate in a designated spot outside the house when it is 2-3 months old. Make sure you are patient, consistent, and confident in your approach when housetraining your pet.
Obedience Training
You should initially teach your Cheenese some basic commands like sit, stay, heel, come, fetch, etc. Use food rewards, play, and praise to motivate your dog to learn anything new. You may also enroll your pup in obedience and kindergarten class to ensure that it quickly acquires the manners of a household pet.
Feeding
While there are many food options for your dog, feeding it commercial kibble is the best way to keep it in shape. Check the label for the ingredients and make sure that you give your Cheenese one cup of dry food on a daily basis.

I just got my 13 year old daughter Cheenese puppy who is 13 weeks and 2 pounds. She’s doesn’t bark unless my other dogs are barking. She’s so sweet and loving. SUPER EASY to potty train and she already knows 3 commands and I’ve had her for 4 weeks. She’s great with my 1 1/2 year old nephew and my 9 year old. Daughter. Adores my wife and loves every body!
Looking for puppy but first where do u live? I’m in Minnesota. Looking for a small dog weight 10-12 pounds. No bigger as is I have bad back. I have a Chihuahua that is eight years old right now that has some major medical problems and is not going to live very much longer and it’s going to break my heart . He is a purebred Chihuahua but I am also this time around looking for a Chihuahua mixed with something else but not real hairy I saw on the picture there was one that was a light tan and white that was adorable and I think it was mixed with the Jahvion and want a female this time
